The Driving Buddy System
It might come as a surprise but the most common reason for failing a driving test in the UK is not car control or roundabouts as most of you think. It is simply lack of planning and observation, meaning when, how and what sort of actions should you plan for your next hazard and/or manouever.
Introducing the innovative Driving Buddy System, designed to maximize learning and confidence for aspiring drivers. This unique approach is for two students to take lesson together, allowing them to learn not only from direct instruction but also from each other's experiences. It allows you to consolidate skills and gain confidence in various road conditions without breaking the bank.
How the Buddy System works:
Connect with a fellow learner who you would like to buddy with. This could be your friend or family member.
Collaborative Booking: Designate one person from your duo to manage all lesson bookings directly with your instructor.
Each session is divided into segments where students alternate roles:
* Driver (20 minutes): During each lesson, you'll take turns in the driver's seat receiving direct, personalized instruction and hands-on experience behind the wheel.
* Observer (20 minutes): The second student sits in the back, actively observing their peer's driving. This crucial role allows them to:
▪ Learn from Mistakes: Witnessing common errors in real-time helps solidify understanding of correct procedures and reinforces what not to do, often more powerfully than just being told.
▪ Anticipate & Strategize: They can mentally "drive along," ANTICIPATING hazards, PLANNING and OBSERVING maneuvers, and processing information from the instructor's guidance to the driver.
▪ Build Confidence: Seeing a peer navigate similar challenges can reduce anxiety and build self-assurance for their own turn.
▪ Reinforce Learning: Observing correct techniques performed by another student helps ingrain good habits and deepen comprehension.
Flexible & Affordable Block Booking Options:
We've designed our pricing to help you save more when you learn together. Our lessons are a minimum of 2 hour per lesson and a minimum of 1 lesson per week:
- 20-Hour Block Booking: Just £27 per hour, per person!
- 10-Hour Block Booking: Only £29 per hour, per person!
- 6-Hour Block Booking: Still great value at £31 per hour, per person!

As you and your buddy approach test readiness, you have the option to split up and take individual, solo lessons with your instructor. This ensures you get dedicated one-on-one time to fine-tune your skills and prepare specifically for your driving test.
